Spring Break!

It wasn't all Baseball this Spring Break. We actually found time to soak it up in our pool! Temperatures got around 80 degrees so we had to cool off!

Dixie Indians take 2nd in March Madness Tourney!

Dixie Indians went 4-0 in regular play. On championship tournament day they beat Taylorsville (which they have never beat before). Next they went on to beat the Raiders. Finally they made it into the Championship Game! We came up against the best team in utah, the Horns from Salt Lake. They are loaded with talent! But we gave them a run for their money but came up short. 2nd place isn't bad when their were 45 teams in the 13 yr. old bracket! Were really proud of them! Clay posted a .455 batting average for this tourney! Go INDIANS!

March Madness tourney

Lincoln's RED STORM teammates. He told me the other day on our way home from a game, "Mom, I feel truly honored to be a part of this team." He's such a hoot!

Lincoln was catcher for his first time for one inning. We all cheered when he actually caught a ball! It was hilarious! I'm hopeful that he will want to continue playing catcher (that was my position in high school). Hopefully one of my children will follow in their mom's footsteps!

Here's Brig in his new REBEL SPORTS REBEL's Debut. His team just got sponsored by Rebel Sports and they got fully decked out with uniforms, cleats, bags, etc. Wow! They went 4-0 this tourney and lost their first game in the championship day. They beat the SL Marshall's who are (or were) the best team in our league. So now they know they can beat anyone!

I knew this day would come when all 3 of my boys were playing tournament ball. It is way exciting and way busy trying to get to all of their games. On Saturday we had 6 baseball games! CRAZY! Tim still coaches the Dixie Indians (Clays team), but also helps the Heat (Brig's team). Linc will have to wait a few years for his turn for Dad to coach.

Clay's team made it to championship day with 4 and 0 record. Lost 1st game in championship. Brig's team stunk it up with 0 and 4 record. Linc, well, it doesn't really matter who wins or loses at his age. Good experience I guess!

Sledding in Lindon!

We had so much fun sledding in Lindon with Ryan and Jamie and their Family. We don't get much snow in St. George so Tatum had no clue what all the white stuff was! She kept touching the snow and saying, "brrr, coldy." Of course Lady had to come with us too!

New Years!

We had the annual New Years eve party at Ryan and Jamie's house! So much fun! All the Gardner family and other cousins were there plus lots of family friends. We played ping pong, Wii bowling, and lots of other games. Of course the best part was all the delicious food. Good job Jamie for another great one! (Of course Ryan too but we know who puts in the most work! haha)

Gardner party sleepover

Most of the Gardner cousins hanging out in pajamas after the christmas party sleepover. They had so much fun being with each other. Of course we had to have wrestling, handstand, and lots of other competitions with each other. A Gardner get together is not the same unless there is some sort of competition going on! haha

Tim Crash Lands!

Funniest thing ever! Jen and I are playing Tim and Jeff in rook, Jeff makes a bonehead mistake and lays points down for Jen and I to pick up. Tim's sitting on one of those white plastic chairs and leans back in protest to his mistake! Totally falls backwards taking all the christmas decorations down with him! Jen and I almost peed our pants laughing so hard!

Lincoln took one friend to Pirate Island for his birthday. Next year we will do a birthday party for him. I just can't do a party every year! What a fun place! Good food, games, and a great pirate atmosphere. Linc is now officially 7 years old! Where has the time gone.

Clays 13th Birthday Bash

I can't believe my oldest is now officially a teenager! He had a bunch of friends up to Grandma and Grandpa Mathie's house for swimming, BBQ, and a movie. They had a blast! I forget how obnoxious boys are at this age. Especially around girls!

Grandma Maughans Funeral

Here is all my side of the family at my Grandma Maughans funeral a few months ago. We all made the trek to Burley, ID where we laid her to rest next to my Grandpa who died 4 years earlier. This was a joyous occasion as her health and quality of life had greatly diminished in recent years. She has now moved on to her next estate where we know she is so much happier being with Grandpa!

Gardner Reunion

Here's where the team stayed. It's called the barricks. Nobody is allowed in unless your a player or a coach. They had such fun. A kid on the team next door slept walked in the middle of the night and got into bed with Drew Batchelor (Clays teammate). He ran over to tim and said, "Tim, there's someone in my bed!" Tim had to wake the kid up and kick him out. So funny!

Cooperstown, NY

Clay, Tim, and I went to Cooperstown, NY for a week long baseball tournament. 22 little league fields all in one place...Dreamspark they call it. Clay thought he died and went to heaven. No, scratch that, Tim thought he died and went to heaven. What a blast we had!!!
